And

I saw

οἶδα

an angel

ἄγγελος

come down

καταβαίνω

from

ἐκ

heaven,

οὐρανός

having

ἔχω

the key

κλεῖς

of the bottomless pit

ἄβυσσος

and

καί

a great

μέγας

chain

ἅλυσις

in

ἐπί

his

αὐτός

hand.

χείρ

And

καί

he laid hold on

κρατέω

the dragon,

δράκων

that old

ἀρχαῖος

serpent,

ὄφις

which

ὅς

is

ἐστί

the Devil,

διάβολος

and

καί

Satan,

Σατανᾶς

and

καί

bound

δέω

him

αὐτός

a thousand

χίλιοι

years,

ἔτος

And

καί

cast

βάλλω

him

αὐτός

into

εἰς

the bottomless pit,

ἄβυσσος

and

καί

shut

κλείω

him

αὐτός

up,

κλείω

and

καί

set a seal

σφραγίζω

upon

ἐπάνω

him,

αὐτός

that

ἵνα

he should deceive

πλανάω

the nations

ἔθνος

no

ἵνα

more,

ἔτι

till

ἄχρι

the thousand

χίλιοι

years

ἔτος

should be fulfilled:

τελέω

and

καί

after

μετά

that

ταῦτα

he

αὐτός

must

δεῖ

be loosed

λύω

a little

μικρός

season.

I saw

οἶδα

thrones,

θρόνος

and

καί

they sat

καθίζω

upon

ἐπί

them,

αὐτός

and

καί

judgment

κρίμα

was given

δίδωμι

unto them:

αὐτός

and

καί

I saw the souls

ψυχή

of them that were beheaded

πελεκίζω

for

διά

the witness

μαρτυρία

of Jesus,

Ἰησοῦς

and

καί

for

διά

the word

λόγος

of God,

θεός

and

καί

which

ὅστις

had

προσκυνέω

not

οὐ

worshipped

προσκυνέω

the beast,

θηρίον

neither

οὔτε

his

αὐτός

image,

εἰκών

καί

neither

οὐ

had received

λαμβάνω

his mark

χάραγμα

upon

ἐπί

their

αὐτός

foreheads,

μέτωπον

or

καί

in

ἐπί

their

αὐτός

hands;

χείρ

and

καί

they lived

ζάω

and

καί

reigned

βασιλεύω

with

μετά

Christ

Χριστός

a thousand

χίλιοι

years.

ἔτος

But

the rest

λοιπός

of the dead

νεκρός

lived

ἀναζάω

not

οὐ

again

ἀναζάω

until

ἕως

the thousand

χίλιοι

years

ἔτος

were finished.

τελέω

This

οὗτος

is the first

πρῶτος

resurrection.

ἀνάστασις

Blessed

μακάριος

and

καί

holy

ἅγιος

is he that hath

ἔχω

part

μέρος

in

ἐν

the first

πρῶτος

resurrection:

ἀνάστασις

on

ἐπί

such

τούτων

the second

δεύτερος

death

θάνατος

hath

ἔχω

no

οὐ

power,

ἐξουσία

but

ἀλλά

they shall be

ἔσομαι

priests

ἱερεύς

of God

θεός

and

καί

of Christ,

Χριστός

and

καί

shall reign

βασιλεύω

with

μετά

him

αὐτός

a thousand

χίλιοι

years.

ἔτος

Satan Cast into the Lake of Fire

ὅταν

the thousand

χίλιοι

years

ἔτος

are expired,

τελέω

Satan

Σατανᾶς

shall be loosed

λύω

out of

ἐκ

his

αὐτός

prison,

φυλακή

And

καί

shall go out

ἐξέρχομαι

to deceive

πλανάω

the nations

ἔθνος

which

ὁ

are in

ἐν

the four

τέσσαρες

quarters

γωνία

of the earth,

γῆ

Gog

Γώγ

and

καί

Magog,

Μαγώγ

to gather

συνάγω

them

αὐτός

together

συνάγω

to

εἰς

battle:

πόλεμος

the number

ἀριθμός

of whom

ὅς

is as

ὡς

the sand

ἄμμος

of the sea.

they went up

ἀναβαίνω

on

ἐπί

the breadth

πλάτος

of the earth,

γῆ

and

καί

compassed

κυκλόω

the camp

παρεμβολή

of the saints

ἅγιος

about,

κυκλόω

and

καί

the beloved

ἀγαπάω

city:

πόλις

and

καί

fire

πῦρ

came down

καταβαίνω

from

ἀπό

God

θεός

out of

ἐκ

heaven,

οὐρανός

and

καί

devoured

κατεσθίω

them.

αὐτός

the devil

διάβολος

that deceived

πλανάω

them

αὐτός

was cast

βάλλω

into

εἰς

the lake

λίμνη

of fire

πῦρ

and

καί

brimstone,

θεῖον

where

ὅπου

the beast

θηρίον

and

καί

the false prophet

ψευδοπροφήτης

pseudoprophētēs

are, and

καί

shall be tormented

βασανίζω

day

ἡμέρα

and

καί

night

νύξ

for

εἰς

ever

αἰών

and ever.

a great

μέγας

white

λευκός

throne,

θρόνος

and

καί

him that sat

κάθημαι

on

ἐπί

it,

αὐτός

from

ἀπό

whose

ὅς

face

πρόσωπον

the earth

γῆ

and

καί

the heaven

οὐρανός

fled away;

φεύγω

and

καί

there was found

εὑρίσκω

no

οὐ

place

τόπος

for them.

αὐτός

I saw

οἶδα

the dead,

νεκρός

small

μικρός

and

καί

great,

μέγας

stand

ἵστημι

before

ἐνώπιον

God;

θεός

and

καί

the books

βιβλίον

were opened:

ἀνοίγω

and

καί

another

ἄλλος

book

βιβλίον

was opened,

ἀνοίγω

which

ὅς

is

ἐστί

the book of life:

ζωή

and

καί

the dead

νεκρός

were judged

κρίνω

out of

ἐκ

those things which were written

γράφω

in

ἐν

the books,

βιβλίον

according to

κατά

their

αὐτός

works.

ἔργον

the sea

θάλασσα

gave up

δίδωμι

the dead

νεκρός

which

ὁ

were in

ἐν

it;

αὐτός

and

καί

death

θάνατος

and

καί

hell

ᾍδης

delivered up

δίδωμι

the dead

νεκρός

which

ὁ

were in

ἐν

them:

αὐτός

and

καί

they were judged

κρίνω

every man

ἕκαστος

according to

κατά

their

αὐτός

works.

hell

ᾍδης

were cast

βάλλω

into

εἰς

the lake

λίμνη

of fire.

This

οὗτος

is

ἐστί

the second

δεύτερος

death.

whosoever

εἴ

was

εὑρίσκω

not

οὐ

found

εὑρίσκω

written

γράφω

in

ἐν

the book

βίβλος

of life

ζωή

was cast

βάλλω

into

εἰς

the lake

λίμνη

of fire.
