heaven,

saying,

λέγω

Alleluia;

Ἁλληλούϊα

Salvation,

σωτηρία

and

καί

glory,

δόξα

and

καί

honour,

τιμή

and

καί

power,

δύναμις

unto the Lord

κύριος

our

ἡμῶν

God:

θεός

2

For

ὅτι

true

ἀληθινός

and

καί

righteous

δίκαιος

are his

αὐτός

judgments:

κρίσις

for

ὅτι

he hath judged

κρίνω

the great

μέγας

whore,

πόρνη

which

ὅστις

did corrupt

φθείρω

the earth

γῆ

with

ἐν

her

αὐτός

fornication,

πορνεία

and

καί

hath avenged

ἐκδικέω

the blood

αἷμα

of his

αὐτός

servants

δοῦλος

at

ἐκ

her

αὐτός

hand.

they said,

ἐρεῶ

And

smoke

rose up

ἀναβαίνω

ever

and ever.

τέσσαρες

twenty

elders

πρεσβύτερος

beasts

fell down

worshipped

on

the throne,

of mighty

ἰσχυρός

thunderings,

βροντή

saying,

omnipotent

reigneth.

Let us be glad

χαίρω

and

rejoice,

ἀγαλλιάω

καί

give

δίδωμι

honour

δόξα

to him:

ὅτι

the marriage

γάμος

of the Lamb

ἀρνίον

is come,

ἔρχομαι

and

καί

his

αὐτός

wife

γυνή

hath made

ἑτοιμάζω

herself

ἑαυτοῦ

ready.

to her

was granted

δίδωμι

that

ἵνα

she should be arrayed

περιβάλλω

in fine linen,

βύσσινος

clean

καθαρός

and

καί

white:

λαμπρός

for

γάρ

the fine linen

βύσσινος

is

ἐστί

the righteousness

δικαίωμα

of saints.

Blessed

are they which are called

righteousness

he doth judge

a flame

written,

γράφω

that

ὅς

no man

οὐδείς

knew,

οἶδα

he himself.

he was clothed

with a vesture

ἱμάτιον

dipped

βάπτω

in blood:

his

στράτευμα

which were

a sharp

ὀξύς

sword,

ῥομφαία

ἵνα

he should smite

πατάσσω

the nations:

ἔθνος

and

he

αὐτός

shall rule

ποιμαίνω

them

αὐτός

with

ἐν

a rod

ῥάβδος

of iron:

σιδήρεος

treadeth

the winepress

angel

standing

ἵστημι

ἐν

the sun;

he cried

with a loud

μέγας

voice,

saying

λέγω

to all

πᾶς

the fowls

ὄρνεον

that fly

πέτομαι

in

ἐν

the midst of heaven,

μεσουράνημα

Come

δεῦτε

and

καί

gather yourselves together

συνάγω

unto

εἰς

the supper

δεῖπνον

of the great

μέγας

God;

That

ye may eat

φάγω

the flesh

σάρξ

of kings,

βασιλεύς

and

καί

the flesh

σάρξ

of captains,

χιλίαρχος

and

καί

the flesh

σάρξ

of mighty men,

ἰσχυρός

and

καί

the flesh

σάρξ

of horses,

ἵππος

and

καί

of them that sit

κάθημαι

on

ἐπί

them,

αὐτός

and

καί

the flesh

σάρξ

of all

πᾶς

men, both free

ἐλεύθερος

and

καί

bond,

δοῦλος

both

καί

small

μικρός

καί

great.

the beast,

θηρίον

the kings

βασιλεύς

of the earth,

γῆ

their

armies,

στράτευμα

gathered together

συνάγω

to make

ποιέω

war

πόλεμος

against

μετά

him that sat

κάθημαι

on

ἐπί

the horse,

ἵππος

and

καί

against

μετά

his

αὐτός

army.

the beast

θηρίον

was taken,

πιάζω

and

καί

with

μετά

him

τούτου

the false prophet

ψευδοπροφήτης

pseudoprophētēs

that wrought

ποιέω

miracles

σημεῖον

before

ἐνώπιον

him,

αὐτός

with

ἐν

which

ὅς

he deceived

πλανάω

them that had received

λαμβάνω

the mark

χάραγμα

of the beast,

θηρίον

and

καί

them that worshipped

προσκυνέω

image.

were cast

βάλλω

alive

into

εἰς

a lake

λίμνη

of fire

burning

brimstone.

the remnant

were slain

ἐν

the sword

ῥομφαία

of him that sat

upon

the horse,

sword proceeded

ἐκπορεύομαι

out of

ἐκ

his

αὐτός

mouth:

στόμα

and

καί

all

πᾶς

the fowls

ὄρνεον

were filled

χορτάζω

with

their

αὐτός

flesh.
