Wherefore

should be moved

by

these

ταύταις

afflictions:

θλῖψις

for

οἶδα

that

ὅτι

we are appointed

thereunto.

verily,

when

ὅτε

we were

ἦν

with

πρός

you,

ὑμᾶς

we told

προλέγω

you

ὑμῖν

before

προλέγω

that

ὅτι

we should

μέλλω

suffer tribulation;

θλίβω

even

καί

as

καθώς

it came to pass,

γίνομαι

and

καί

ye know.

cause,

no longer

μηκέτι

forbear,

faith,

lest by some means

the tempter

πειράζω

have tempted

vain.

good tidings

εὐαγγελίζω

of your

ὑμῶν

faith

πίστις

and

καί

charity,

ἀγάπη

and

καί

that

ὅτι

ye have

ἔχω

good

ἀγαθός

remembrance

μνεία

of us

ἡμῶν

always,

πάντοτε

desiring greatly

ἐπιποθέω

to see

οἶδα

us,

ἡμᾶς

as

καθάπερ

we

ἡμεῖς

also

καί

to see you:

ὑμᾶς

we were comforted

affliction

stand fast

ἐν

the Lord.

δύναμαι

render

ἀνταποδίδωμι

to God

ἀνταποδίδωμι

for

you,

ὑμῶν

ἐπί

all

πᾶς

the joy

χαρά

wherewith

ὅς

we joy

χαίρω

for

διά

your sakes

ὑμᾶς

before

ἔμπροσθεν

our

ἡμῶν

God;

νύξ

praying

δέομαι

exceedingly

ἐκ

περισσός

ὑπέρ

that

εἰς

we might see

οἶδα

your

ὑμῶν

face,

πρόσωπον

might perfect

καταρτίζω

that which is lacking

ὑστέρημα

in your

ὑμῶν

faith?

πλεονάζω

to increase

πλεονάζω

abound

περισσεύω

in love

ἀγάπη

one

ἀλλήλων

toward

εἰς

another,

ἀλλήλων

toward

εἰς

all

πᾶς

men, even

καί

as

καθάπερ

we

ἡμεῖς

do toward

εἰς

you:

ὑμᾶς

To the end

he may stablish

στηρίζω

your

ὑμῶν

hearts

καρδία

unblameable

ἄμεμπτος

in

ἐν

holiness

ἁγιωσύνη

before

ἔμπροσθεν

God,

Father,

πατήρ

at

ἐν

the coming

παρουσία

of our

ἡμῶν

Lord

κύριος

Jesus

Ἰησοῦς

with

all

his

saints.
