be unto you,

We give thanks

εὐχαριστέω

to God

πάντοτε

for

all,

μνεία

of you

ὑμῶν

prayers;

Remembering

μνημονεύω

without ceasing

ἀδιαλείπτως

your

ὑμῶν

work

ἔργον

of faith,

πίστις

labour

κόπος

of love,

ἀγάπη

patience

ὑπομονή

of hope

ἐλπίς

in our

ἡμῶν

Lord

κύριος

Jesus

Ἰησοῦς

Christ,

Χριστός

in the sight

ἔμπροσθεν

of God

and

our

ἡμῶν

Father;

Knowing,

brethren

ἀδελφός

beloved,

ἀγαπάω

election

God.

δύναμις

ἐν

the Holy

ἅγιος

Ghost,

πνεῦμα

ἐν

πολύς

assurance;

πληροφορία

as

καθώς

ye know

οἶδα

what manner of men

οἵος

we were

γίνομαι

among

ἐν

you

ὑμῖν

for

διά

your

ὑμᾶς

sake.

affliction,

of the Holy

ἐξηχέω

of the Lord

only

μόνον

in

ἐν

Macedonia

Μακεδονία

and

Achaia,

Ἀχαϊα

but

ἀλλά

also

καί

in

ἐν

every

πᾶς

place

τόπος

your

ὑμῶν

faith

πίστις

to

πρός

God-ward

θεός

is spread abroad;

ἐξέρχομαι

so

ὥστε

that we

ἡμᾶς

need

χρεία

not

μή

ἔχω

to speak

λαλέω

any thing.

ἀπαγγέλλω

themselves

shew

ἀπαγγέλλω

what manner

ὁποῖος

of entering in

εἴσοδος

we had

ἔχω

unto

you,

how

πῶς

ye turned

ἐπιστρέφω

to

πρός

God

θεός

from

ἀπό

idols

εἴδωλον

to serve

δουλεύω

the living

ζάω

and

καί

true

ἀληθινός

God;

to wait for

ἀναμένω

his

αὐτός

Son

υἱός

from

ἐκ

heaven,

he raised

ἐγείρω

ἐκ

the dead,

even Jesus,

delivered

ῥύομαι

us

ἡμᾶς

from

ἀπό

the wrath

ὀργή

to come.
