Proverbs 4:18. But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

Proverbs 10:11. The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

Proverbs 10:16. The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.

Proverbs 10:17. He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.

Proverbs 10:18. He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.

Proverbs 10:20. The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth.

Proverbs 10:21. The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom.

Proverbs 10:22. The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

Proverbs 10:24. The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.

Proverbs 10:25. As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.

Proverbs 10:28. The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.

Proverbs 10:30. The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.

Proverbs 10:31. The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.

Proverbs 10:32. The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.

Proverbs 11:1. A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.

Proverbs 11:3. The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.

Proverbs 11:7. When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.

Proverbs 11:8. The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.

Proverbs 11:9. An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

Proverbs 11:10. When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting.

Proverbs 11:15. He that is surety for a stranger shall smart for it: and he that hateth suretiship is sure.

Proverbs 11:16. A gracious woman retaineth honour: and strong men retain riches.

Proverbs 11:18. The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.

Proverbs 11:19. As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.

Proverbs 11:23. The desire of the righteous is only good: but the expectation of the wicked is wrath.

Proverbs 11:28. He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.

Proverbs 11:31. Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.

Proverbs 12:3. A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.

Proverbs 12:5. The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.

Proverbs 12:7. The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand.

Proverbs 12:10. A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

Proverbs 12:13. The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.

Proverbs 12:17. He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.

Proverbs 12:21. There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.

Proverbs 12:25. Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.

Proverbs 12:26. The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them.

Proverbs 13:5. A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.

Proverbs 13:9. The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.

Proverbs 13:11. Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.

Proverbs 13:21. Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed.

Proverbs 13:22. A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

Proverbs 13:23. Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment.

Proverbs 13:25. The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.

Proverbs 14:9. Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.

Proverbs 14:19. The evil bow before the good; and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.

Proverbs 14:32. The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death.

Proverbs 15:6. In the house of the righteous is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble.

Proverbs 15:28. The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.

Proverbs 15:29. The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.

Proverbs 16:7. When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Proverbs 16:11. A just weight and balance are the LORD'S: all the weights of the bag are his work.

Proverbs 16:13. Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaketh right.

Proverbs 16:33. The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD.

Proverbs 17:4. A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue.

Proverbs 17:7. Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.

Proverbs 17:15. He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.

Proverbs 17:26. Also to punish the just is not good, nor to strike princes for equity.

Proverbs 18:5. It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.

Proverbs 18:10. The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

Proverbs 18:17. He that is first in his own cause seemeth just; but his neighbour cometh and searcheth him.

Proverbs 19:22. The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar.

Proverbs 20:8. A king that sitteth in the throne of judgment scattereth away all evil with his eyes.

Proverbs 21:2. Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.

Proverbs 21:3. To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

Proverbs 21:7. The robbery of the wicked shall destroy them; because they refuse to do judgment.

Proverbs 21:12. The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.

Proverbs 21:15. It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.

Proverbs 21:18. The wicked shall be a ransom for the righteous, and the transgressor for the upright.

Proverbs 21:26. He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.

Proverbs 23:24. The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.

Proverbs 23:31. Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright.

Proverbs 24:15. Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place:

Proverbs 24:16. For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

Proverbs 24:24. He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:

Proverbs 30:12. There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.

Ecclesiastes 3:16. And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.

Ecclesiastes 3:17. I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

Ecclesiastes 7:15. All things have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his wickedness.

Ecclesiastes 7:16. Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself?

Ecclesiastes 7:20. For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

Ecclesiastes 8:14. There is a vanity which is done upon the earth; that there be just men, unto whom it happeneth according to the work of the wicked; again, there be wicked men, to whom it happeneth according to the work of the righteous: I said that this also is vanity.

Ecclesiastes 9:1. For all this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God: no man knoweth either love or hatred by all that is before them.

Ecclesiastes 9:2. All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.

Wisdom of Solomon 2:10. Let us oppress the poor just man, and not spare the widow, nor honour the ancient grey hairs of the aged.

Wisdom of Solomon 2:12. Let us, therefore, lie in wait for the just, because he is not for our turn, and he is contrary to our doings, and upbraideth us with transgressions of the law, and divulgeth against us the sins of our way of life.

Wisdom of Solomon 2:16. We are esteemed by him as triflers, and he abstaineth from our ways as from filthiness, and he preferreth the latter end of the just, and glorieth that he hath God for his father.

Wisdom of Solomon 2:18. For if he be the true son of God, he will defend him, and will deliver him from the hands of his enemies.

Wisdom of Solomon 3:1. But the souls of the just are in the hand of God, and the torment of death shall not touch them.

Wisdom of Solomon 3:10. But the wicked shall be punished according to their own devices: who have neglected the just, and have revolted from the Lord.

Wisdom of Solomon 4:7. But the just man, if he be prevented with death, shall be in rest.

Wisdom of Solomon 4:16. But the just that is dead, condemneth the wicked that are living, and youth soon ended, the long life of the unjust.

Wisdom of Solomon 5:1. Then shall the just stand with great constancy against those that have afflicted them, and taken away their labours.

Wisdom of Solomon 5:15. For the hope of the wicked is as dust, which is blown away with the wind, and as a thin froth which is dispersed by the storm: and a smoke that is scattered abroad by the wind: and as the remembrance of a guest of one day that passeth by.

Wisdom of Solomon 10:4. For whose cause, when water destroyed the earth, wisdom healed it again, directing the course of the just by contemptible wood.

Wisdom of Solomon 10:5. Moreover, when the nations had conspired together to consent to wickedness, she knew the just, and preserved him without blame to God, and kept him strong against the compassion for his son.

Wisdom of Solomon 10:6. She delivered the just man, who fled from the wicked that were perishing, when the fire came down upon Pentapolis:

Wisdom of Solomon 10:10. She conducted the just, when he fled from his brother's wrath, through the right ways, and shewed him the kingdom of God, and gave him the knowledge of the holy things, made him honourable in his labours, and accomplished his labours.

Wisdom of Solomon 10:13. She forsook not the just when he was sold, but delivered him from sinners: she went down with him into the pit.

Wisdom of Solomon 10:20. And they sung to thy holy name, O Lord, and they praised with one accord thy victorious hand.

Wisdom of Solomon 11:14. For when they heard that by their punishments the others were benefited, they remembered the Lord, wondering at the end of what was come to pass.

Wisdom of Solomon 12:9. Not that thou wast unable to bring the wicked under the just by war, or by cruel beasts, or with one rough word to destroy them at once:

Wisdom of Solomon 12:15. For so much then, as thou art just, thou orderest all things justly: thinking it not agreeable to the power, to condemn him who deserveth not to be punished.

Wisdom of Solomon 12:19. But thou hast taught thy people by such works, that they must be just and humane, and hast made thy children to be of a good hope: because in judging, thou givest place for repentance for sins.

Wisdom of Solomon 14:30. But for both these things they shall be justly punished, because they have thought not well of God, giving heed to idols, and have sworn unjustly, in guile despising justice.

Wisdom of Solomon 16:17. And which was wonderful, in water, which extinguisheth all things, the fire had more force: for the world fighteth for the just.

Wisdom of Solomon 16:23. But this same again, that the just might be nourished, did even forget its own strength.

Wisdom of Solomon 18:7. So thy people received the salvation of the just, and destruction of the unjust.

Wisdom of Solomon 18:20. But the just also were afterwards touched by an assault of death, and there was a disturbance of the multitude in the wilderness: but thy wrath did not long continue;

Wisdom of Solomon 19:16. But they were struck with blindness: as those others were at the doors of the just man, when they were covered with sudden darkness, and every one sought the passage of his own door.

Wisdom of Solomon 19:17. For while the elements are changed in themselves, as in an instrument the sound of the quality is changed, yet all keep their sound: which may clearly be perceived by the very sight.

Sirach 9:16. Envy not the glory and riches of a sinner: for thou knowest not what his ruin shall be.

Sirach 10:23. That seed of men shall be honoured, which feareth God: but that seed shall be dishonoured, which transgresseth the commandments of the Lord.

Sirach 27:8. Praise not a man before he speaketh, for this is the trial of men.

Sirach 35:5. To depart from iniquity is that which pleaseth the Lord, and to depart from injustice, is an entreaty for sins.

Sirach 35:6. Thou shalt not appear empty in the sight of the Lord.

Sirach 35:18. Do not the widow's tears run down the cheek, and her cry against him that causeth them to fall?

Sirach 44:17. Noe was found perfect, just, and in the time of wrath he was made a reconciliation.

Isaiah 3:10. Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

Isaiah 5:23. Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

Isaiah 29:21. That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.

Isaiah 32:1. Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.

Isaiah 41:10. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Isaiah 45:21. Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.

Isaiah 47:3. Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man.

Isaiah 51:1. Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.

Isaiah 53:11. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Isaiah 54:17. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Isaiah 57:1. The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

Isaiah 58:2. Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.

Isaiah 59:4. None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

Isaiah 60:21. Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

Isaiah 61:8. For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

Isaiah 64:5. Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.

Jeremiah 11:20. But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.

Jeremiah 12:1. Righteous art thou, O LORD, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?

Jeremiah 20:12. But, O LORD of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause.

Jeremiah 23:5. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

Jeremiah 31:23. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.

Jeremiah 42:5. Then they said to Jeremiah, The LORD be a true and faithful witness between us, if we do not even according to all things for the which the LORD thy God shall send thee to us.

Lamentations 1:18. The LORD is righteous; for I have rebelled against his commandment: hear, I pray you, all people, and behold my sorrow: my virgins and my young men are gone into captivity.

Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

Ezekiel 3:21. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

Ezekiel 13:22. Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:

Ezekiel 18:5. But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right,

Ezekiel 18:8. He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man,

Ezekiel 18:9. Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD.

Ezekiel 18:11. And that doeth not any of those duties, but even hath eaten upon the mountains, and defiled his neighbour's wife,

Ezekiel 18:20. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Ezekiel 18:24. But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

Ezekiel 18:26. When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.

Ezekiel 23:45. And the righteous men, they shall judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women that shed blood; because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.

Ezekiel 33:12. Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.

Ezekiel 33:13. When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.

Ezekiel 33:18. When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby.

Ezekiel 45:10. Ye shall have just balances, and a just ephah, and a just bath.

Daniel 3:27. And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

Daniel 9:14. Therefore hath the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.
